Cumulonimbus | Unframed, 8" x 7"

$135.00

I’ve always loved watching clouds form over land and sea and feeling the negatively charged ions in the air just ahead of an approaching storm. This painting feels like everything about the energy of a thunderhead to me.

Acrylic and oil pastel on Fabriano Pittura 300 lb. acrylic paper

This original 8” x 7” painting arrives ready to frame under glass or plexiglass, matted in a standard sized 14” x 11” acid-free mat with backing and sealed in a protective acetate bag.

Almost forgot it was Friday! Some works in progress this week, none finished. They’re all over the place as I explore some ideas and that’s okay. Really enjoyed working on the largest (last) one, which tells me something. Happy weekend!
And now we’ve lost our Thumbelina, the beautiful, beloved torbie girl who was the yin to the yang of her sister Cinderella. She left us on Friday after 15 wonderful years and 5 months…5 months and one day after her sister. 💔 💔 We loved
