Ceramics
Over the course of many years, I have studied and hand built ceramics. I love the feel of clay in my hands and the fact that you can create something beautiful and useful out of mud.
Most of my clay work is atmospherically fired in a soda kiln, which adds visual interest, textural effects and a dose of unpredictability – just the way I like it! Soda firing requires a specially built gas kiln, and I create and fire my clay work at a local fine arts center.
Here are highlights of some favorite pieces that are already sold or in private collections.
